RUKIA KUCHIKI -shinigami- of BLEACH

I've been working on a full BLEACH shinigami outfit for a bit, with the intention of cosplaying Rukia as a shinigami. Ever since I did the AX05 group, I've been determined to do better Rukia cosplays-- since she's so easy for me to pull off-- and she's a girl, for once! I don't think I'm as short as her, but I'm short enough XD Same body type and stuff like that though. My hair is more than willing to cooperate and be styled into that random one-bang thing.

When I saw Rukia's sword, Sode no Shirayuki, I decided I wanted it! I bugged my friend Jeff for awhile to make it for me, and in the end, it didn't get made until the weekend before the convention weekend. We ended up constructing a sword out of cardboard, paper, craft foam, etc... I am hoping that in the future, I can make a better one. Although, the sword we made for ALA looked quite good!

Rukia is also fun to cosplay because each of her costume variants conveys a different mood and personality. As a shinigami, she's pretty bad-ass. XD
