When I spotted Shuuhei in his first wee panel appearance in the manga, I immediately thought: "I so want to cosplay that guy!" I didn't get around to it till now because I became a little intimidated about cosplaying the manly-male characters of BLEACH since I keep getting demoted to the short, mostly female characters. XD; Someone actually suggested I do Hanatarou too. Do'h.

Until one faithful night when I decided to play with make-up and did a test to see if I'd look decent as Shuuhei at all. At the end, I convinced myself I wouldn't look half-bad and mustered up the courage and the inner manly that I had thought I lost. I got the costume done for ALA and had fun wearing it. Even though there was no way I could spike my hair like his and I didn't feel like buying a wig and styling it either (^ o ^)
