status plan on re-working

As of right now, alongside the Vash and Aya costumes-- this is one of my favorite cosplays, ever. Plus, it is the first costume I made entirely out of scrap material-- the pants, the top, the skirt thing... and all by myself! I am a sewing n00b still, and this was quite an accomplishment for me. I used really basic patterns for the top and the pants. The pattern for the top was altered heavily, of course-- it wasn't too hard. And I had to find another pattern for the high collar to use. I had a lot of fun putting on all the details on the costume.

I plan on re-working this costume one of these days. I'm probably going to start over and learn from my previous mistakes on the first try.

I even made gloves with red sharpie-- but now I bought the official gloves that a booth was selling during AX. They look much cooler and I wear them randomly. Oh, and why did I cosplay Roy? Originally, I wanted to cosplay Ed from the show... but after episode 13, Roy just sold me. He is a badass dork-- and I love badass dorks XD ... and oh, god, I am so obsessed with the show that I need help T_T
